I'm a fan of the Alien franchise (well, let's not talk about Alien Reserrection... mmmm) and the Predator films were highlights of the action flick 80s...

So when AVP was released, it was nothing more than a studio fuck up... I mean, the whole thing looked like they reused Star Gate set (the movie, not the series) and put it on ice (hey, there's an idea.. Disney's Star Gate On Ice)...

It was joked that Lance Hendrickson and Bill Paxton were the only two people ever to have been killed by the Terminator, the Alien and Predator (YES, Bill Paxton DID appear in The Terminator film!) Anyway......

So it comes as some relief to have watched the trailer to the sequel noone wanted and to witness a better looking film second time around...

Instead of Alien Vs Predator - Requeim, they should've called it Alien Vs Predator - REDEMPTION!

Well, having not seen the actual film, I'm basing my observations on the trailers and it looks okay... certainly not original Alien or Predator brilliant, but okay none-the-less...

This time they're fighting in a small hick town...

Now, if only they could have them fighting in down-town LA among drug lords with a spaced out Gary Busey, then they's have the making of a brilliant, if slightly plagarised, film!
